The images are portrayed meticulously, the vestments adorned with gem and pearl-studded embroidery. The youthful martyr Peter and the monastic St. Marfa are in supplication to the Mother of God of Kazan, the silver oklad is engraved with vine scrolls and the rims of the prominent haloes with cut-out palmette motifs.
