The bust of the youthful Christ, His facial features are finely rendered in various shades of brown, His face framed by short, curly hair, wearing a chiton and himation in complementary red and green, both accentuated in gold; the silver-gilt oklad with a large, cut-out, tripartite halo, the border chased with elaborate leafy scrolls.
