The general composition of this girandole corresponds with the tradition of Russian objects created in the 18th and the beginning of the 19th century.
Its structure, however, speaks of a later period of 1830–1840, the period of historicism, as well as its overall decor, which underwent some transformations to suit the tastes and fashion of 1830–1840.
