The figures are executed traditionally, their garments rendered with bright colours highlighted in gold, each with two patron saints on the border. The Mother of God is flanked by the monastic saints Dionisiy and Maria, Christ in adoration by Sts. Nikita and Daria, and John the Baptist by Sts. Katerina and Anna. The silver oklads are tooled with foliage in baroque style and applied with cut-out haloes with beaded rims.
