Question and Answer, an Illustration for the Henryk Sienkiewicz Novel "Quo Vadis", signed, inscribed "Roma (jakic)" and dated "MDCCCXCVII" (1897).

Another version of the present lot, with the same title and dated 1900, is in the collection of the State Russian Museum, St Petersburg.
Authenticity of the work has been confirmed by the expert V. Petrov.
