Restaurant, a Set Design for Dmitri Ugryumov's Play "A Call to an Empty Flat", signed with an initial and dated 1967, also further signed, inscribed in Cyrillic “Dek. k spektaklyu/“Zvonok v pustuyu kvartiru” Ugryumova/Teatr Komedii” and dated on the reverse.
Pencil and gouache on tinted paper, laid on cardboard, 20 by 27 cm (paper size).

The present lot is a set design for Nikolai Akimov’s production of A Call to an Empty Flat, staged at the Leningrad Academic Comedy Theatre in 1967.
