Set Design for the Second Act of Mussorgsky's Opera "Khovanshchina", signed and dated 1949, also further signed, stamped with the artist's monogram, inscribed and dated 1950 on the reverse.

Dobuzhinsky created the present set design for the 1950 production of Mussorgsky's Khovanshchina at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City.
