Authenticity of the work has been confirmed by the expert V. Petrov.
Exhibited: Exhibition of Soviet Art, Philadelphia, 1934 (labels on the reverse).

In 1930–31 Dormidontov worked on a series depicting the
construction of the Dnieper Hydroelectric Station. Part of this series is in the collection of the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow.
