Authenticity has been confirmed by the daughter of the artist. Russian painter of the Ecole de Paris born in Odessa. Studied in the Odessa Art Academy. Arrived to Paris in 1920, where he continued his education in the Academy de la Grande Chaumiere. Exhibited at the Salon d'Automne, the Salon des Independents, and numerous personal exhibitions. His house-museum is in Safed, Israel.
