Authenticity has been confirmed by Vladimir Petrov.

Lots 260–263 are part of the collection of Hrachia Khachatur Buniatian, a renowned Armenian scientist and public figure. His credentials are numerous: he was founder of the Institute of Biochemistry, vice president of the Armenian Academy of Sciences, which he also co-founded, director of the Institute of Physiology, chairman of the Biochemical and Physiological Societies of Armenia, member of the German Academy of Natural Sciences Leopoldina and founder of the Neurokhimia journal. His art collection, compiled with the help of his friend Ruben Drampian, includes works by major Russian artists such as Polenov, Lagorio and Makovsky, presented for the auction.
