Painted with oil on metal, the Vladimirskaya is shown halflength, turning her gaze away from the viewer, the saints on the sides are depicted frontal and full-length. The plates are encased in a silver-gilt setting elaborately decorated with dots and foliate scrolls in filigree enamel, the upper part is an ogee arch, the closed wings are fully enamelled and the back is engraved with a dedication.
