Blessing and carrying an open Gospel in his veiled hand, flanked by Christ and His Mother, both standing on clouds, offering him the Bible and Episcopal stole, the saint’s elderly features are clearly rendered, the halo and border with stylised foliage scrolls imitate contemporary enamel oklads.
