Represented naturalistically, the elderly saint is partly bald with a long beard, kneeling in front of the altar, extending his hands in prayer as he sees the Holy Spirit descend towards him, the interior space is defined by an arch, a pillar and a curtain fastened with a tassel, and a chalice, paten and a candle stand on the altar; the background of the oklad in silver, engraved with dense rays that emanate from the Dove, the stylised decorative motifs with champleve enamel.
