The saint is shown seated on a throne with high, curved back and an opulent red cushion embroidered in gold, while his feet rest on a suppedaneum. He gestures in blessing and raises a Gospel Book with gold and gem-encrusted binding. His Episcopal attire in pastel colours includes an epigonation embroidered with an image of the Mandylion and his epitrachelion is ornamented with opulent foliage in baroque style. The saint bears a punched halo on gold ground.
