Standing on an opulent cushion, raising his right hand in blessing and displaying the open Gospels, flanked by two angels kneeling on clouds and extending their hands in supplication, the lower part of the icon with blossoming plants on dark ground; the silver-gilt oklad chased meticulously with circular and floral motifs, complemented by a cut-out halo.
