The Guardian Angel with large wings, raises a Patriarchal cross and holds a sword. He is flanked by Sts. John the Baptist and John Chrysostom, the first clasping a scroll and gesturing in benediction, the second bearing the Gospels. The Mandylion is represented on the upper border, the family patrons, Sts. Olga and Katerina turn towards the main image in supplication.
