The large figure of the Guardian Angel is in the centre, and on each side are thirteen saints including Church Fathers, martyrs and Monastic Saints arranged over five tiers. An image of the Anastasis is depicted on the upper part of the main scene, the Lord of Sabaoth in blessing emerges from the open heavens. The family saints on the border are the Stylite Sts. Simeon and Daniel and the blessed monks John and Longin.
