Costume Design for Ballet Sadko Signed and dated 1911, Inscribed in Cyrillic 'Sadko' and 'Mermaids'

Gouache on paper, 40 by 22 cm. This design was created by the artist for Rimsky-Korsakov's ballet Sadko, produced by Mikhail Fokin for Diagilev's Ballet Russe. It was performed in 1911 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
