Standing Nude, signed with the artist's Chinese stamp and bearing the studio stamp.
Sanguine on paper, 93 by 48.5 cm.
Provenance: Collection of Comte Georges Martin du Nord. Private collection, USA.
Possibly, portrait of Anna Pavlova.
Due to Iacovleff's strong interest in Chinese art, he sometimes stamped his works with a Chinese seal as in this case with these drawings. This seal was his Chinese name and read Ya Kou Lo Fou, with the last character meaning “happiness”.
