The present lot is from the set of B. Kustodiev’s stage and puppet designs for the G. Kryzhitsky’s production Petushok Zolotoi Grebeshok (The Cockerel with Golden Crest) after the N. Piatnitskaia fairy tale, staged in 1927 at the Leningrad Marionette Theatre.
