Suivante du Saphir, Costume Design, signed, further stamped with the artist's studio stamp, inscribed "Les Trésors/G.W.S.", titled and dated twice, once "V-1926", on the reverse.
Pencil, ink and gouache, heightened with silver, on paper, 35.5 by 28.5 cm.

Provenance: A gift from the artist to Maria Gromtseva (1901–1980), a costume designer, Paris, in the 1950s.
Thence by descent.
