Provenance: Acquired directly from the artist by Sizinio Pontes Nogueira, the Ambassador of Brazil to the USSR, 1971-1976, Moscow.
Thence by descent.
Acquired from the sons of the above by the present owner.

Authenticity of the work has been confirmed by the artist.
Exhibited: Severity of Style, MacDougall’s, London, 1-14 May 2015.
The work will be included in the forthcoming Oscar Rabin catalogue raisonné being prepared by A&C Projects, Michèle and Marc Ivasilevitch.
