376. A GROUP OF FIVE SILVER-GILT AND NIELLO VODKA CUPS AND BEAKERS AND A CREAMER
VARIOUS MAKERS, MOSCOW, 1834–1841, 84 STANDARDS
Height of a creamer 7.5 cm, height of a larger beaker 8.5 cm, of a smaller 4.5 cm.

Provenance: Acquired by the grandfather of the current owner in the late 1920s–1930s.
Thence by descent.
Each cup and beaker with flared rims, gilt interiors and nielloed with foliate ornament, rural or military figures, the creamer rim cast with four shaped lips, the body nielloed with scrolling foliate motifs with scroll ivory handle.
