372. A SILVER KETTLE ON A STAND WITH A BURNER
MARK OF BOIANOWSKI, ST PETERSBURG, 1856, 84 STANDARD

Cast to simulate a pumpkin, gently elongated lobed globular
body on a flared foot, hinged cover surmounted with pumpkin
leaf bud, the spout shaped as a head of a mythical creature,
scroll handle with ivory insulators; the burner similarly shaped,
the stand supported on three scroll legs.
