Tragic Poem, Mazurka No. 13, Mazurka No. 15 and Caress, four works, two inscribed "Poeme tragique" and "Mazurka" and three variously numbered.
Each pencil and ink on paper, the largest measuring 32 by 24.5 cm and the smallest 29.5 by 20.5 cm.

The present lot comprises the original preliminary drawings for the series Skriabin v tantse Lukina (Skriabin in Lukin’s Dance), published in 1922 as ten collotype plates in a folder, in an edition of 100 copies.
Provenance: Estate of the artist Victor Kholodkov, Moscow, until 1988.
Acquired from the above by the present owner.
