509. A PAIR OF PORCELAIN COVERED VASES
POPOV MANUFACTORY, MOSCOW, EARLY 19TH CENTURY
Height 22 cm each.

Urn-shaped, a high spreading foot on a square base with gilt decoration, dolphin handles, fir-cone finials, the bodies and covers decorated with alternating vertical gilt bands and flower garlands, the shoulders and covers with flower cartouches to front and back, with blue manufactory marks.
