Maquette of the Konek-Skakunok book, 47 pages, separately numbered, with text and illustrations in ink, watercolour and pencil, Maliutin’s original cover signed in pencil with a title Koniok Skakunok, dated 1925, inscribed “Moscow” and the name of the author of the text; plus two sketchbooks, 18 pages each with more than 400 illustrations in ink, watercolour and pencil and some text in pencil, original cloth cover, stamped on the back: “C.B”.
Konek-Skakunok is a fairy tale about the great life of workers and peasants after the victory of the Bolshevik revolution. The book was never published.
