* 677. A SOVIET PORCELAIN "TÊTE À TÊTE" TEA SET

STATE PORCELAIN MANUFACTORY, LENINGRAD, 1921-1922.
Height of teapot 14.5 cm., height of sugar bowl 12.5 cm., height of cups 6.5 cm., diameter of saucers 9 cm. and 15 cm.

Comprising a teapot, sugar bowl, two cups and saucers, decorated with a floral design, all marked with a blue hammer and sickle factory marks, one cup and saucer bearing a green Imperial cipher of Nicholas II, the rest with masked Imperial marks, cups and saucers numbered “18/1”, 18/2”, “18/4” and “18/5” and dated 1922, teapot and sugar bowl dated 1921 on the reverse.
