The cavetto painted with 6th Cavalry Division, the gold border centered with an Imperial eagle flanked by a wreath of laurel and oak leaves, after a painting by Charlemagne, the reverse with an identifying inscription, signed by V. Midin and dated 1883, with green Imperial cipher of Alexander III
