191. A SILVER-GILT HOLY COMMUNION CHALICE
RUSSIAN, MAKER’S MARK IN (?) IN CYRILLIC, MOSCOW, 1908
Height 26.2 cm.

The chalice is applied with four roundels including a Deisis and “Man of Sorrows”, the base with four corresponding roundels each portraying an Evangelist, all figures are in relief, surrounded by cloisonne enamel borders, marked on the lip of the cup, the lower rim of the base and on each enamelled border.
