The saint is portrayed frontal, half-length, looking directly at the beholder, with a smooth brown beard and hair falling on his shoulders, an Episcopal mitre and staff complement his liturgical vestments; the saint’s apparel is with meticulous decoration emulating silk brocade, embroidery with gold thread, applied enamel plates and gems.
