The popular saint is shown frontal, half-length, blessing and holding a bejewelled Gospel Book, flanked by medallions of Christ, and His Mother, executed traditionally, his elderly face, hair and beard delineated by white striations, his garments in muted red and green with traces of gold on the drapery, with a hammered basma and applied cut-out halo and tsata.
