The Holy Spirit, in the form of a dove, descends from the open heavens towards the nude Christ who stands in the waters of the river Jordan, on the left bank is St. John leaning forward in anointing the Baptised, balanced to the right by three angels, the one in the foreground bends to the direction of Christ with covered hands; the image is executed with elegant, subdued colours, complemented by a later silver-gilt oklad with chased foliage scrolls.
