The Mother of God is tilting her head towards her Son. Christ is dressed in a short tunic, that reveals His arms and legs, is seated on His Mother’s arm, holding an inscribed scroll. The upper part of the composition portrays God the Father with His hands extended in blessing, and below two angels are kneeling on clouds in adoration of the Mother of God and Christ, rendered realistically. The silver oklad has stylised foliage on the border, haloes and spandrels in cloisonne enamel, and the name plate in champleve.
