The military saint is shown frontal, gesturing in benediction, supporting his shield with his left hand, dressed in full armour complemented by a long cape, his halo defined by a deep-coloured rim, the upper corners occupied by images of the Tikhvinskaya Mother of God, to the left, and the “Soother of Sorrows”, to the right.
