In the centre there is a half-length image of the female martyr, her hair falling loosely on the shoulders framing her youthful face, bearing a crown together with her halo, raising a cross with her right hand, holding an axe and a pick in her left hand; her life and martyrdom are narrated in the twelve surroundings scenes, executed traditionally mostly in earth colours, selected details painted in red, the figures’ garments rendered in gold.
