The image is executed in the Western style, the Mother of God is seated on a balcony, represented as a youthful maiden with loose, uncovered hair, her red tunic complemented by a green cape, holding Christ. He is portrayed as a child, wearing a knee-length chiton, raising His right hand in benediction, the background partially occupied by a building, to the left is a landscape including a river with swans.
