St. Julita and her three-year old son, St. Kirikos, are shown in supplication to Christ. The twelve surrounding scenes depict the life and martyrdom of the saints. The icon is painted traditionally with a variety of green and red tones, the ochre border is inscribed with the titles of the adjacent scenes.
