"…We discovered the concept of multi-stylistic paintings during the early period of Sots Art (1972–73). Later, in different series: Anarchistic Synthesism, Mythological Creatures, Diaries etc., we united different styles in diptychs, triptychs, polyptychs and other multi-panels. Unity and juxtaposition of different styles in works such as Angel and Imp and Medusa reflect contradictions in our minds and our lives".
Vitaly Komar.
