Unique hand-painted plates by renowned Russian contempoary artists, produced for the 2001 exhibition project “Universal Circle”, Moscow, organised by the Cultural Foundation “Zabava” and Association of Art Historians.

Each signed, seven on the reverse, three titled, two on the reverse, and eight dated 2001, six on the reverse.
Nine measuring 29.5 cm and four 26.5 cm in diameter.
The presented plates were created in celebration of the over two-hundred and fifty year tradition of hand-painted porcelain manufacturing in Russia by the following artists: Dmitry Alekseev (B. 1963), Dmitry Beliukin (B. 1962), Anna Birshtein (B. 1947), Lavrenty Bruni (B. 1961), Olga Bulgakova (B. 1951), Ekaterina Medvedevа (B. 1937), Mikhail Romadin (1940–2012), Nikas Safronov (B. 1956), Lev Tabenkin (B. 1952), Sergei Tsigal (B. 1949) and Nikolai Vechtomov (1923–2007).
