Two Spanish Ladies, signed twice, inscribed in Cyrillic with a signed dedication and dated "Parizh 10 maia 1956".

The present lot is a study for the eponymous painting (early 1920s), currently in the collection of the State Tretyakov Gallery.

Provenance: A gift from the artist to George Costakis in 1956 (inscription on the work).
Thence by descent.
