Bluebells by the Window, signed and dated 1926, further titled on the stretcher, also further signed and titled on the label on the stretcher.

These (Russian) bluebells are a variety of campanula and not the paler flower known as the English bluebell.
Authenticity of the work has been confirmed by the expert V. Petrov.
Exhibited: Possibly, Exhibition at the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts, Warsaw, February 1927 (label on the stretcher).
