Provenance: A gift from the artist to his niece Sofia Olman (née Dubovskaia), Moscow, before 1917.

Authenticity certificate from the expert V. Petrov.
The work is accompanied by a letter from Vladimir Olman, a grandson of Sofia Olman, confirming its provenance.

Exhibited: 41 peredvizhnaia vystavka kartin, Imperial Society for the Encouragement of Arts, St Petersburg, 28 December 1912–20 January 1913; Imperial Russian History Museum, Moscow, 24 February–7 April 1913.
